Where a skater was taken against where he actually ranks in pool scoring. Taken 100th, sitting 80th in points is +20. Every drafted skater is ranked, so the pool's pluses and minuses cancel to zero — one man's steal is another's reach. (Not on-ice plus/minus; this measures the draft.)
